Aaron Ludwig

Aaron Ludwig (Treasurer) is the founder and Managing Director of The Counterracketeering Group, the Managing Member of Ludwig Law Offices, and a professor at Arizona State University teaching criminal law, white collar crime, and organized crime.

Aaron headed the racketeering and asset forfeiture section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (a nationally recognized counterracketeering pioneer responsible for the then-cutting edge racketeering prosecution of, and $94 million settlement with, Western Union for aiding and abetting money laundering by human traffickers) and in combination with his previous, C-level executive and entrepreneurial experience, Aaron is highly successful at solving business, government, and law enforcement problems with innovative solutions.

Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Aaron was appointed as a Maricopa County trial court judge (pro tem) for nine years, served as a securities fraud and street crimes prosecutor in other law enforcement offices, and founded and operated his own law firm specializing in management and risk consulting, transactions, and litigation, all after he rose to Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Legal Officer of the Phoenix-based pension/retirement funds investment accounting firm Fiduciary Advisors, for which he previously served as Business Development and Finance Manager.
