May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and ACFCS will present a webinar dedicated to discussing the importance of maintaining the mental health of our industry professionals.

Fincrime professionals around the globe work in a fast-paced, high-stakes industry, whether they be an analyst inside a financial institution (FI) or case agents working in the field making arrests.  The partnership between FI’s and federal law enforcement has never been more important. Given the current events around the globe, they have rarely been more stressful. So how do compliance analysts maintain a healthy mental balance?  How can supervisors detect when their employees are experiencing that dreaded ‘burn-out’ feeling?

This webinar is aimed at reminding our fincrime professionals that the work they do remains vitally important to the safety of our most vulnerable populations, and that maintaining your mental health will continue to help these populations.  Homeland Security Supervisory Special Agent Renaldo Franklin and Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigations (IRS-CI) Special Agent Jaushua Brewer will discuss how managers/supervisors within both law enforcement as well as FI’s can detect burn-out within their employee base.  He will also provide best practices in how to discuss this issue with these employees as well as tips on how to provide the most appropriate support for your employees.
