Featured Speakers :
Scott has over twenty years of banking and financial crimes risk management experience as a BSA Officer, strategy consultant, intelligence analyst, risk manager, and commercial banker. He is currently the Head of Innovation for AML and Risk at State Street Corporation where Scott and his team are developing a transformational AML monitoring platform to protect more than $2.7 trillion in assets under management. Prior to State Street, Scott partnered with Accenture to develop a leading Financial Intelligence Utility leveraging new technology, the power of the Amazon (AWS) cloud, and a community of participating financial institutions to reduce the cost of compliance, strengthen relationships with regulatory agencies and better support the end-user community (including intelligence and law enforcement) to protect national security.

Traditional transaction monitoring systems historically haven’t been properly designed for capital markets products or activity—failing to enrich, connect, and operationalize data. This leads to extremely high volumes of false positives and ineffective detection of risks in Markets AML.
A contextual decision intelligence platform that leverages entity resolution and network analytics offers a new approach to generating insights that empower decision making. By enabling dynamic enrichment of data and providing the flexibility to design tailored detection models for unique markets risks, you can save time, reduce false positives and better identify hidden risks.
Join State Street’s Scott Nathan, Managing Director, Head of Innovation for AML & Risk, and Quantexa’s Elizabeth Bethoney, Head of Financial Markets, to learn more about how contextual monitoring can help detect your institution’s specific risks, manage those risks more effectively and drive down compliance costs.
In this webinar you will learn:
- Why contextual monitoring is critical for detecting risk in markets business
- How entity resolution and network analytics improve risk detection and increase efficiency
- How to incorporate new technologies into your current operations and IT ecosystem to see results within months not years
