As we approach the end of summer, I am sure everyone is beginning to focus on the end of the year and plans for 2018. All of us at ACFCS have been busy executing on our strategic vision to ensure we meet and surpass the needs of our current and future members. Learn more about our changes and updates below.

Introducing Financial Crime Essentials | Online Training with ACFCS

I'm pleased to let you know that we just released our Financial Crime Essentials course which we will be providing as a complimentary member benefit. The launch of this course is a significant milestone for us and provides our members with state-of-the-art training created by our award-winning design team. If you are not an ACFCS member, this course is only $99.

I am confident that this course and our future certification exam prep course set to be released in late September will set a new standard. Both of these initiatives support our goal of providing the best thought leadership resources in the industry.

Financial Crime Conference | October 16-17 in Boston

I'm very excited about the upcoming Financial Crime Conference in Boston on October 16 and 17. We have purposely priced this conference at a budget-friendly level which will allow our law enforcement partners, our enterprise clients, our members and our certification partners to attend. We have also added some excellent benefits to encourage our non-members to attend, among them a year’s free membership.

Our program sets a very high standard and features some of the industry's most recognized experts on the panels. The keynote speakers are renowned and should not be missed. Take the time to check it out now, and I look forward to speaking with you at our conference. Register and learn more

Mark Your Calendar | Annual ACFCS Conference in October

Our annual conference being held in Boston October 16 and 17, 2017 is well on its way to being finalized with a tremendous speaker line-up.

Our keynote speakers include Dr. Declan Hill, and will provide some tremendous insight into the corruption in sports across the globe, and Robin Grosset, who currently works with Mindbridge Analytics and will highlight where AI is going in the coming years.

We will also be presenting the first Financial Crime Lifetime Achievement Award ¾ the McDonald Award ¾ in honor of Mike McDonald, a pioneer and friend to many of us on the Board of Advisors who passed away late last year from cancer. View the full agenda, and register here.

Member Benefits, Chapter Updates and Our Promise to You

The need for financial crime prevention expertise is becoming more and more obvious. Over the past few months, our membership has grown by 25 percent. This tell us that professionals value the many benefits ACFCS membership offers.

This fall, we look forward to launching several new chapters, with dedicated teams in each region who, like me, have a tremendous passion for our industry and want to ensure we continue to provide networking and training opportunities.

Thank you as always for your continued support of ACFCS and I want to reiterate our promise to you and others in our field:

ACFCS will always be at the forefront of what’s happening in financial crime so that you can be at the forefront of what’s happening in financial crime.

On behalf of the BARBRI/ACFCS team, we look forward to continuing to serve our clients and having opportunities to discuss how we can provide even more value to your organization.

ACFCS will always be at the forefront of what’s happening in financial crime so that you can be at the forefront of what’s happening in financial crime. We do the heavy lifting for you. ACFCS and our subject matter experts, guarantee it. How?

  1. We provide the most relevant and expansive education and information, when and how you want it.
  2. We have the only certification that designates your status as a financial crime prevention expert.
  3. We have the membership that always delivers on these values and connects you with like-minded professionals in your industry.

Best regards,

Garry Clement, Executive Vice President and Executive Director, ACFCS
