Part Two in a Three-Part Series on Risk Assessment, Transaction Monitoring and Hybrid Threat Finance. Learn More About Part 1 Here and Part 3 Here.
Full Series Complimentary for Members | Non-members $149 for the Full Series
Reality is that the transnational criminal organizations (TCO) are infiltrating our financial institutions at an alarming rate. These TCOs are very familiar with our systems, rules and operations.
As Financial Services professionals, we need to understand the tactics, techniques and protocols (TTPs) of these threat organizations. To do that, financial crime compliance professionals must take a page out of the book of their law enforcement partners by uncovering the individual strands of transactional DNA tied to specific organized criminal and terror groups, called hybrid threat finance.
Attendee learning goals:
- Explain what "hybrid threat typologies" are in and how they play into the AML context.
- Help you begin to understand how to leverage typologies to better detect illicit finance.
- Show you how to use them to reduce false positives by better defining the risk and zeroing in on the target.
This session is eligible for 1.5 CFCS credits.
