Presented By: Brandon Gill, Intelligence Research Specialist, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Join the ACFCS Mid-Atlantic chapter for a virtual launch and learning event! This session will introduce the chapter and its leadership, and provide insights on how privacy has changed over the past few years and what it means for you.

Together we will:

  • Review a recent series of data breaches and will attempt to answer the question; does data privacy exist anymore?
  • Discuss how data aggregation and the advent of social media have forever changed the digital landscape.
  • Explore what, if anything, can be done to protect our information.
  • Review some current and emerging technologies and discuss what vectors new threats might come from.

This virtual chapter launch is the first of many live and online events to be hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Chapter. Attendees will have the ability to ask questions and share their perspective. Join us to learn, network with your peers, and get involved!
